Information Gathered on this Site
When you browse our site and have not registered for any online service from the International Student Network, you browse anonymously. Personal information -- such as your name, address, phone number or E-mail address -- is not collected as you browse. The International Student Network does, however, use "cookies" to collect information about how our site is used. Information, such as the server your computer is logged onto, your browser type (for example, Netscape or Internet Explorer), and whether you responded to a International Student Network banner ad or E-mail is collected and tracked in aggregate. This information is used for the purpose of measuring response rates to banner ads and E-mail offers.
Information provided to Partners
The International Student Network is a free online resource accepting and linking to online service providers. Request for services may require that the user enter personal information including name, address, phone number, email address, income, and other financial information in accordance with the type of service desired. Providers require such information to fulfill your request.
When you complete one of our online loan service request forms, your information will be transmitted to a partner institution for fulfillment. We work very closely with our partners to insure your information is secure and your confidentiality is maintained. In many cases, you will be completing the application request form on the partner's website. In that case, they will have their security policy available for your review.
Registration for Online Products and Services.
In order to provide you with a particular product or service online, we may request that you voluntarily supply us with personal information, including your E-mail address and account number, for purposes such as correspondence, site registration, checking your bill online, making a purchase, or participating in online surveys and enabling us to provide an online product or service to you in an efficient manner.
